Mr. Benjamin Soffer has been appointed as a director at BioRap, replacing Prof. Zvi Kohavi

Mr. Benjamin Soffer currently serves as Head of the Technion Technology Transfer (T3) Office at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. In addition to his responsibilities at the Technion, Ben also serves as a Director on the Boards of several companies and organizations.

Prior to joining the Technion, Ben served as consultant to N.Y based Highbride Capital, a  $10B  private equity firm controlled by J.P. Morgan Chase, and as Managing Director of TopNotch Capital,  one of Israel`s  leading investment banking boutiques, focused primarily on the life sciences sector. Between 1999-2003  Ben served as Israel`s Economic Attaché  to New England. During that time he also served as the representative of both the bi-national Industrial R&D (BIRD) Foundation, and the Israeli Industrial Cooperation Authority (ICA).

Ben is certified to practice law   in Israel and New York.  He studied law  at Tel Aviv University, Israel  and at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich Germany;  and Economic and Business Administration at Bar Ilan University, Israel. Ben was admitted to the Israeli Bar Association in 1996, and to the New York Bar in 2003.
